The King's Speech

So I have had The King's Speech since September and haven't been in the mood to watch it. I probably should have sent it back and then got it sent back when I was in the mood for it. But this blog isn't about my Netflix habits, just about the movies that I watch on my Queue. The King's Speech was good, and it deserved all of the awards it received but I honestly was all that into it. Maybe it is because I am not much a history buff and history bores me in general.

I was watching it while I was working in my office. It wasn't a movie that took my attention away. I don't even have much to say about the movie. Other than Colin Firth was utterly amazing. I mean he seemed like he had a speech impediment. He played that role damn well. The timing was right and it was just perfect.

Currently I am watching Friday Night Lights streaming. I had watched seasons 1-3 and half of season 4 before, now I am catching up. I love this show. This show was definitely a diamond in the rough that never was truly found. Or was found too late. This show became popular long after it should have. I love me some Tim Riggins. I have to say I appreciate more of the earlier seasons with the original cast, but I like the additions and the way the script developed and the story progressed.
