A brilliant idea

I already have a blog that I am really bad a keeping up with, and I believe that the reason I haven't been able to keep up with it was because it was too much. However, this one is a little easier. For Christmas this year, I took all of my gift cards I received and decided to splurge on myself, and buy a BluRay player. Man was this the best and worst decision of my life. I love it, but it sometimes consumes my life.

I have had Netflix for 8 months, and I have watched a lot of movies. I started with two rentals at a time, and now am up to three at a time, and now I also have a device that streams them straight to my TV. I wish I would have thought of this before, because I have seen some awesome movies in the last 8 months. However, it didn't dawn on me until I started streaming movies and shows.

I want to take you on the journey with me. My DVD Queue is currently at 60 movies, and my Instant Queue is up to 104. It is a lot of movies, and I am excited to go through each and every one of them, and continue to add movies to it. From time to time, I may talk about movies I see in the theater, but my main focus is going to be my Queue.

My documented journey started tonight, I watched Charlie St. Cloud. It wasn't what I was expecting, but I definitely enjoyed it. I have been very anxious to have that one climb to the top of my queue, and it was generally good. I was getting pissed at moments.

At points I didn't want to invest myself, because I was afraid that I'd get pissed at where I thought the storyline was going. Luckily, it was not what I thought, and it wasn't a newer Sixth Sense. I'm glad I resisted the urge to give up on it, and would recommend it.

It is not an Oscar movie, but it was a good watch, and I totally enjoyed it. And glad that it will be my first step in my journey through my queue. I am planning on knocking a few of those instant queue numbers off this weekend. So we will see where I end up, and I will take you alone with me.
